We grow farmers at Hills of Milk and Honey, an educational farm located in Dripping Springs, Texas. We provide summer day camps for children ages 3-14 where they become a "farmer for the week!" Our unique camps offer your child the opportunity to learn how to connect with the land and the community through hands-on, age-appropriate farming, gardening, composting, and cooking activities as well as learn about honey bees. Expect your child to climb into the car at the end of each day completely dirty, and ready to share about all of the interactive experiences and good, old-fashioned fun they had each day in a safe learning environment. There will be plenty of time for water play, and time spent with the goats, rabbits, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs. Team building, and theme related activities, games, art lessons, and crafts round out the week full of fun!

We also offer a unique camp experience for children, teens, and young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our campers with ASD also get to become a "farmer for a week," engaging in hands-on activities in the garden and with the animals, while also developing greater self-confidence and personal responsibility. The curriculum for this camp has been designed for those with ASD to have maximum therapeutic and learning opportunities to overcome fears, interact socially with others, and be exposed to various sensory inputs found specifically on a farm including light, sound, smell, space, color, and more. In order to provide the most positive experience possible for the campers in attendance, a caregiver may be required to attend the camp with the child. After registering your child for this camp, you will receive a link to an application form online where additional information will be gathered regarding your child. Once the application has been received, a video or in-person conference will be scheduled so that the Hills of Milk and Honey staff and parents of children attending the camp will have the opportunity to discuss details regarding how to best support each child during the camp. We look forward to partnering with parents in the community to make this an unforgettable experience for their loved one diagnosed with ASD. To learn more about the leadership that developed this camp, and the passion and desire to offer this to the community, click here.

The safety and well-being of all camp attendees is of utmost importance to us, so rest assured that your child will be attending farm camp under the care and love of camp leaders who are all certified in First Aid and CPR, have experience working with children and want nothing more than to spend the summer enjoying life on the the farm with the children in our community!

Each child will receive a free Hills of Milk and Honey camp t-shirt and water bottle. Space is limited, so register your child today for an upcoming summer day camp at Hills of Milk and Honey in Dripping Springs. We look forward to meeting you and your children. Please contact us if you have any questions.
