Are you fascinated by bees and other pollinators? This unique workshop provides participants the chance to learn about honeybee colonies and their flying friends who are important members of the regenerative agriculture movement. People have the opportunity to play a big role in the support of pollinators, and this workshop will provide practical ways for folks to get involved in supporting our favorite flying communities.

Topics included in this two hour workshop include an introduction on keeping honeybees, as well as a list of resources and supportive businesses in the Austin area that offer continued education opportunities. Native bees need our support too, so not everyone needs to be a "beekeeper." Participants will build a small native bee home and learn how to provide appropriate water sources for all small pollinators.

Lastly, Chef Jana will share a delicious seasonal snack made with local honey. You know, in honor of the bees and the 1/12 teaspoon of honey they each make in their lifetime. Cheers!
