MOPS Group Farm Tour - KB2
MOPS Group Farm Tour - KB2
We are excited to offer this additional time slot for Karis Beasley and friends who were unable to register for the first time slot before it sold out! We are super thrilled that so many of you are looking forward to visiting the farm!
Registration for the Friday, April 27, 2018, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM time slot is open to those who have not registered for the previous group tour! If you have already registered for the previous time slot, you will soon be receiving an email in regards to a slight shift in time. This is allowing us to open up this additional time slot for others.
This two hour interactive tour of our 12 acre educational farm includes gardening activities and time to spend with and learn about dairy goats, rabbits, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs, as well as a mini lesson on beekeeping while you enjoy your sack lunch you've brought with you.
Our farm focuses on regenerative agriculture practices and lessons taught during your time on the farm will be geared toward building an awareness and understanding of the role we all play in the larger food system. It will be engaging and fun with plenty of time for the children, and adults, to get their questions answered about the way our farm participates in the process of growing food and getting it on the plates of folks in our community.
Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible. The address is 2434 Martin Road, Dripping Springs, TX 78620. Drive west toward Johnson City on HWY 290, turn right on McGregor and then turn left on Martin Road.
All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person or another time.
Close-toed shoes for all participants.

Comfortable clothing for walking over uneven terrain.
We are a working farm. Please keep this in mind when choosing clothing and shoes. We nearly promise you will go home dirty, which is a sign of a great time on the farm! ;-)
